In this book Tom Pranio addresses questions he has been asked about golf over the years. At the core of Tom's teaching is a simple truth: you already know how to hit a ball with a stick. You just don't know that you know and need to be re-awakened.I took up golf around 3 years ago, and like most people I tried to teach myself through YouTube videos, books, advice from my friends, and NONE of it helped a bit. I finally took lessons this year, with Tom. One of the first things he asked me is if I played any other sports. I told him I used to play baseball. "Perfect!" he said. "You already know how to swing a baseball bat without thinking. Golf is the same thing A golf shot is a ground ball to third." That same day, I hit my first true golf shot, and I quickly realized that up that point I had it TOTALLY wrong.This is not necessarily a "how-to" book, because Tom's method of teaching is to let the student figure out the swing on his or her own, with his guidance. There are certain fundamentals (I won't give them away, you should buy the book) he uses that will help you see golf in an entirely different way.If you enjoy golf, you should buy this, read it, and re-read it and re-read it and try some of the things Tom suggests when you play. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the results. If you're in Central NJ, book some lessons with him. He's an excellent teacher and he keeps it lighthearted and fun.

By Amazon Customer Being one who has spent thousands and put untold hours into lessons I truly appreciate this book. Tom simplifies it all and makes what you have a treasure to be developed. He approaches what most of us tend to complicate in a laid back system which truly helped my game. I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to improve their game. But also, and maybe most importantly, their enjoyment of golf.
