All of the characters are based on actual people who populated my boyhood but I portrayed them with some literary license. I loved them all. I remain grateful to them for all they did for me simply because of who they were.”

John White aka "the crabber" is a unique character that makes the stories come alive and stay with you long after you have put the book down.
