East Face is the true story of my solo winter ascent of the East Face of Basin Mountain in California’s Sierra Nevada mountain range.The East Face is a maze of uncharted and steep climbing routes. It is a good read, giving some real insight to both the fear and the exhilaration of climbing uncharted territory, never quite knowing if the climb will be aborted or successful. The outcome is basically determined ONE STEP at a time. You won't stop reading until you finish it.
